We would like to say a huge well done to our young people involved in this year’s Growing2Gether project with Ecologia Youth Trust.
For the last 16 weeks, the group have been learning various skills from budgeting, team building, and cooperation to help them along with their chosen project. Their project was to plan and build a pizza oven in The Field from scratch, to then serve food to members of our community using their oven. Today we held that event to conclude the project along with a small prize giving for the group and it was a great success!
This project would not have been possible without some amazing helpers such as Gordon Robertson, Col Gordon and Finlay Keiller.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to Dawn from Growing2Gether for leading this project and coming all the way from Findhorn every week to do so. The young people really enjoyed getting to know you and developing their skills over the weeks.
Take a look at that oven! Well done all.
